Many Ways to Give
The Foundation supports the library’s leadership and staff by helping the library address emerging community needs and trends through private support.
Make a secure online donation using your credit or debit card. You can even opt to make your gift go further by covering the 3% transaction fee. After you have submitted your donation, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your donation that can be used as a receipt.
Our library director will also mail you a thank you letter.
Artist Receptions are hosted by the Foundation for the local artists who contribute a percentage of their sales to benefit the Library. When you purchase a work of art at the Library, 20% is donated to the Foundation.
Artist exhibits are currently on hold until the library renovation is complete.
The artists shown above are (L-R) Colleen Rogan, Terry Olcott Cohea, Paulette Etchart, and Kate Runnells.
Mail a Check
On your next visit to the library, you can give a check to any of our friendly employees or you may mail your donation to the Foundation. A gift acknowledgement letter/tax receipt will be mailed to you.

Workplace Giving & Matching Gifts
Celebrate a co-worker's birthday with a gift to the Lewis & Clark Library Foundation and we will send birthday greetings and a thank-you to the birthday person!
If your company has a matching grant program, consider doubling your gift!
If you wish to give long-term, sustaining support to the Library we encourage contributions through a bequest in your will or a planned gift, such as life insurance or a charitable trust, which may provide extra tax advantages to the donor.

Montana State Employees
Every fall, the State of Montana launches its annual campaign to make it easy and affordable for State employees to support the charities of their choice.
If you work for the State of Montana, include the Lewis & Clark Library Foundation in your annual giving.
Boy Scout Troop 206 raised $1,000 for the Library Foundation when they constructed 5 Little Free Libraries, partnered with Capital High School's art students to paint them, and sold them for $200 each.
What a wonderful way to support the library!
